Senior PHP Developer

Flightradar24 is a leading provider of flight data to many of the most exciting brands in aviation and beyond, from all over the world. We are a successful and profitable Swedish founded global company.

Within our Web Team, Flightradar24 is looking for a professional and experienced Senior PHP Developer (Laravel) to help design and build our next-gen B2B API product. You will work closely with a dedicated B2B Team to capture requirements from business stakeholders (Boeing, Thales, Lufthansa, easyJet and more) that have a huge appetite to work with our huge amount of data.

The position is open to candidates who will work at our hybrid office-remote workplace in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation is not offered for this role.

 

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with the product team & the solution architect to capture feature requirements and translate them to a scalable API-based solution
  • Work on a new code base based on Laravel 10 and PHP 8 deployed on AWS/ECS
  • Make use of automation with Jenkins and Terraform to improve the SDLC

Who you are

  • You have worked on multiple Laravel projects in production

  • You have a strong native PHP knowledge

  • You have built APIs and have used APIs in the past

  • You have experience with unit and e2e testing

  • You have experience using AWS services for production workloads

  • You have a passion for optimizing code and MySQL queries for performance and efficiency
